Conwest Inc. is a commercial Roofing contractor founded in 1981.  We perform work in both the public and private sectors for a wide range of owners and general contractors including various Utah School Districts, State of Utah, Dept of the Army, US Navy, US Air Force, General Services Administration, Bureau of Reclamation, US Forest Service, and US Postal Service.  We have an experienced, knowledgeable and trained work force. Conwest's management team averages over 20 years experience in commercial and institutional roofing.  We are frequently called by architects, engineers, and specifiers to assist with design and detailing of the roofing system because of our experience with numerous systems.

We usually perform are services with our own forces as prime contractor directly with the owner. A majority of the projects we performed are low sloped, re-roofing type of projects that involve new roof drain systems and raising existing HVAC equipment. Generally, good portions of our projects have structural & seismic work involved with them. The work usually involves adding additional attachment from the roof structure to the supporting walls.  This will usually require the removal and replacement of the roof structure to gain access to the work areas.  These types of projects require a great deal of coordination to ensure the building is protected from the elements while the roofing and structural work progresses.

Conwest is certified to remove asbestos-containing materials that are part of the existing roofing system.  Customers benefit from Conwest's turn-key approach to asbestos abatement on roofing projects.  By self-performing asbestos roofing and flashing removals, a second level of subcontractor is eliminated.  Conwest handles all notifications, permits, removals, and waste manifests, ensuring a completed weather-tight roof. Upon completion all asbestos related paperwork is compiled by Conwest and forwarded to the owner.
